Static Websites

A static website is characterized by static content of its pages, which is not modified by a management tool. It can feature detailed multimedia design and even videos. However, every visitor to a page will be greeted by the exact same text, multimedia design or video every time he visits the page until you alter that page’s source code. The term static does not imply that it does not change the content of the site but that it does not change easily without some specialized knowledge on programming of web pages, increasing in time the website’s development costs. The static website is appropriate in the case of relatively low content, which do not require frequent changes of its pages’ content.
